Spokane Fox Theater: Historic and beautifully remodeled

Attending a gala event at the Fox Theater is a once-in-a-lifetime experience: enriching, magnificent, and memorable. What an engaging way to get involved in the arts! Inspired by an art deco motif from 1931, the facade is now a 1600 seat theater.

It is located in the heart of the Davenport Art District on Monroe Street. Fox Theater has space for various spokane event center including, but not limited to:

Presentation of product lines and fashion shows
Customer / employee recognition events

Fox experienced a decline over its rich history. However, a massive restoration project was launched with over $ 31 million in accumulated funds to restore the building. It had been a great success.

The theater was spared the demolition of what is now known as the Martin Woldson Theater on the Fox.

It opened again in November 2007. That's why this staged a comeback, a revival that eager fans have long been waiting for.

It is definitely back on the road to its heyday with brilliance and glamor printed everywhere. Once again, it rises like a Phoenix ready to excite and entertain everyone in the audience.

The restoration project proved to be an overwhelming commitment. According to Peter Moye, chairman of the theater board,
Restoring this theater consists in reclaiming the magic and energy of those memories. As a result, the project introduced changes by installing:

All freshly cleaned murals of depression age
Recovered frescoes
Operation of electrical and plumbing systems.
Updated air conditioners
Compliance with ADA requirements
The latest technology
Excellent acoustics
Fox's mission stands in:

Preservation of the historic theater
Create a regional center for
Performing Arts
Exhibition of educational and entertainment events, either local, regional or national.
Serves as the basis for Spokane Symphony
In addition, the installation includes:

Improving Collaboration between Community Action Organizations Creativity and Artistic Improvements Provide Space to Help People in the Northwest Inner Country Attend Artistic Events
Raising awareness of the arts through an environment that awakens, entertains, educates and challenges the public
Enriching family experiences through the performing arts is her lifelong commitment.
Notable performances at the theater include Katharine Hepburn, Marian Anderson, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and First Lady Michelle Obama.

As a venue for various stage events, Fox always puts a mark on those attending each galaxy night. In fact, Carol Snyder shared her thoughts: "To climb the big steps of the fox as a kid, I always imagined," This must be what Cinderella feels when she goes to the dance. "

The Fox Theater is cut out from the hearts of those it touches. Audiences from across the Northwest Inner Country, get ready! Artists from all over the country exhibit the best performance of their lives.

Love the music. Love for the arts. Lifelong love. Among other things, this mantra is the best lesson to be learned from Spokane's own Fox Theater.
